Adolix Split and Merge PDF is a freeware software that can be used to manage PDF files. With this simple tool, you can split PDF documents in a customized fashion similar to the way you can print Word documents. You can split a document into files having equal number of pages, say 1,2,3,4 etc. Or give a range of pages for splitting. For e.g., 1,2-5;6-8;9;10 would split a document containing 10 pages into 5 documents each containing the pages separated by semicolons.
Merging of documents is straight forward with Adolix creating an output file in the same sequence as the input files are listed. This sequence can be changed by the Up and Down Arrows which are present besides the Input file list.
Limitations for the Free Version: Only 5 documents can be merged and 50 pages can be split.
