Download iTunes 8.2.1

A new version of iTunes is now available for download. iTunes 8.2.1, the latest version, fixes some important bugs and also a verification issue of Apple devices. iTunes 8.2.1, similar to it’s predecessor 8.2 supports iPhone or iPod Touch with the iPhone 3.0 software update.
A bad news for Palm Pre users who earlier synced their media collection with iTunes 8.2. The latest version 8.2.1 does not allow this any longer. This was a deliberate step taken by Apple to make iTunes solely work with their iPhone and iPod Touch. So Palm Pre users might prefer to stick with 8.2 till a viable solution in the form of trusted third party applications which bring the syncing functionality to 8.2.1 is found.
