Block Any website In Firefox Using BlockSite
BlockSite is a Firefox Add-on which allows you to block any websites of your choice. It also prevents hyperlinks to the blocked websites from occuring in web pages. For such links it just displays the link text.
Features
Blacklist and Whitelist: By default ‘Blacklist’ option is selected and so all the sites that you add are treated as blacklisted. If you want to allow only selected sites and block everything else then choose ‘Whitelist’ radio button and then add a list of sites that you allow.
Password Protection: You can also set a password for BlockSite. By giving a password, you can deny access to the BlockSite Preferences window to any one else. However this does not ensure complete control as anyone can easily uninstall the add-on any time.
Range of websites: Using wildcard symbol (*), you can block whole ranges of websites. For example if you want to block everything ‘porn’ then add “http://porn*.* if you want to block everything which mentions porn. The * symbol indicates that there may be zero or more random characters at that place.
Save the lists:You can import and export lists of blocked and whitelisted sites through the ‘Import’ and ‘Export’ buttons in the ‘BlockSite Preferences’ window. The list is saved as a text file when you export it.

Note: Though this extension is quite good in blocking sites, it should not be used for parental control or access control purposes because it can be uninstalled any time from Firefox.
