Finally, Sprint has started rolling out the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update to the Samsung Galaxy Tab, which is still stuck on the Android Froyo since its birth.

Many online TV sites such as Hulu.com restrict media streaming on an android mobile devices. The streaming sites differentiate between an android device and a computer with the help of browser ID string. Therefore, watching TV on Android devices is not possible by default.

Recently, developers have successfully obtained temporary root access on HTC Evo 3D. Usually, the temporary root is not of great significance for normal users. However, in the case of HTC Evo 3D, a developer has used the temp root on his phone to disable the running of all bloatware apps that ship with the device.

The long wait for the Samsung Fascinate users has come to an end now. MIUI custom ROM for Samsung Fascinate is now available for download. The ROM named ‘MIUI FascinateMTD’, developed by an XDA forum member, has many features working, including phone calls, Bluetooth, 3G, WiFi, SMS, Camera, GPS, and Sensors.

Developers have done it again! HTC Evo 3D and HTC Sensation have both obtained temporary root access. This opens the door for app developers to jump in and test their apps, which need root access, for compatibility.

There is no doubt that HTC Evo 3D is a great smartphone, with its amazing internal specs. However, having said that, there are many complaints regarding its call quality. Many users are reporting that the voice quality during a phone call isn’t good. 

Here is some cheering news for the Motorola Milestone XT720 users who are frustrated with being on Android 2.1 Éclair ever since the purchase. Cincinnati Bell has rolled out official Android 2.3 Froyo update for Motorola Milestone XT720.

CyanogenMod 7.1 RC1 is now available for download. This version is based on the latest Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread platform. The Cyanogen team has announced that the build is stable and good for daily use.

Finally, things are moving for the HTC Incredible S. CyanogenMod 7 Release Candidate for HTC Incredible S is now available for download. Although it is a release candidate, the developer says that it is good for everyday use because all things are working as expected, including Wi-Fi and GPS.
