How To Change Default Download Location In Google Chrome
When you click on download links in Google Chrome, it automatically saves them to a folder, that is set in Chrome Options. You can either change this default location to some other folder on your Computer, or make Chrome ask you each time you download a file.
In order to change the default download location,
1. Go to Tools (the wrench icon) –> Options –> Under the Hood tab.
2. Scroll down the options to the ‘Downloads’ section.
3. Browse and choose the folder under ‘Download Location’. In case you want to choose a location yourself for each downloaded file, select the check box ‘Ask where to save each file before downloading’.
4. Click ‘Close’. Your changes are automatically saved by Chrome.
