How To Change Screen Resolution In Windows 7
Want to change the screen resolution of your Windows 7 PC, but unable to find where it is located? The user interface of Windows 7 is different from XP, and many hitherto easily available features such as the Run Command, the Folder Options in Windows Explorer, Indexing & Search options etc are either hidden or buried under unfamiliar menus or dialogs.
Here is how you can adjust screen resolution in Windows 7:
1. Right Click on Desktop and select ‘Personalize’.
2. In the Personalization screen, click on the link ‘Display’ found at the bottom left. Then click on ‘Adjust resolution in the left panel.
Alternatively you could go to the ‘Adjust screen resolution’ page from Control Panel –> Appearance and Personalization –> Display –> Adjust screen resolution.

3. Click on the drop down box titled ‘Resolutin’ and adjust the slider to change the screen resolution, between 1280×800 to 800×600. Note that you will have to choose the correct resolution suitable for your monitor. Or else the screen may be cropped and some items remain hidden from view.
4. Click OK to save your changes.
