How To Check System Health Status In Windows 7
How many times you faced data loss due to Windows crash? Windows may crash without warning due to device failure, disk problems, security breach etc. Any OS upon use tend to accumulate errors, and slowly become inoperable or unstable because it was not diagnosed at first step.

Windows XP didn’t have built-in System Health check utility. But Windows 7 has. Windows 7 performs series of tests including tests for OS, Disk, Security, System Service, Hardware Device, Driver etc. These checks are important on regular basis to keep a track of your system health and perform action before it crashes!
Here is how you can perform checks and generate System Diagnostics Report using inbuilt Windows 7 tool:
1. Login with Administrator privileges. Click Start—Control Panel
2. In Control Panel, make sure you choose view by as “Large icons” or “Small icons”. Then scroll down and click on “Performance Information and Tools”.

3. Click on “Advanced tools” located in the left panel.

4. Scroll to the bottom of Advanced Tools window and click on item “Generate a system health report”.

5. Windows will now begin scanning your system for errors.

6. After completion of process, you will then be presented with a comprehensive report of health of your computer.

You can save the report in HTML format for viewing it anytime and start troubleshooting process.
