In case you are an MS Outlook user, you don’t have to miss out on the social networking part any more. Outlook social connector, still in Beta, is a free program released by Microsoft which lets you view the status updates and messages from your favorite online social networks right within Outlook.
You can synchronize your contact data, keep track of all communication including Email threads and status updates in a single interface, and view related information, such as attachments and pictures while reading your mail. Currently Outlook Social Connector supports LinkedIn, Microsoft SharePoint, and is expected to support other popular sites such as MySpace, Facebook, Windows Live etc in the near future.
