How To Convert BIN To ISO Using CDBurnerXP

Sometimes you may across some image files in BIN or NRG format, and wish to convert it into an ISO file for later burning. Most of the software which let you convert image files into ISO are not free. In this article we show you how to use CDBurnerXP, a completely free program, to accomplish this task. Download CDBurnerXP and install the application before proceeding to the steps below.

1. Launch CDBurnerXP. Select the option ‘Burn ISO image’ and click OK.

2. In the ‘Write ISO Image’ dialog, click on the ‘Convert to ISO…’ button.

3. In the following dialog titled ‘Convert Image To ISO’, choose the image file to be converted (.bin,.nrg), choose the path to the destination ISO file, and click on ‘Convert to ISO’. You can watch the status of conversion in the progress bar.

4. Once the image file is converted to ISO, you will be returned to the ‘Write ISO Image’ of step 2. Now you can select this ISO file by clicking the ‘Browse’ button and hit ‘Burn disc’ if you like to burn the ISO image to a CD or DVD.
