Customize and Save your Google Search Results with SearchWiki
SearchWiki is a Google Search feature which lets you customize search by re-ranking, deleting, adding, and commenting on search results. You can move the results you like to the top or add a new site. You can also write notes attached to a particular search result and remove results that you feel are irrelevant.
All these modifications will be remembered by Google (you need to be signed in to your Google account for this feature to work) and will be shown to you every time you do the same search. The changes you make affect only your own searches.
However with SearchWiki you can share your views with other searchers. After customizing your search results, you can also share it with your friends and contacts by clicking on the “Share these notes” link (see below image) which lets you to send the results page through Email or IM(Instant Messaging).
You can see how the other people have edited their search results by clicking on the “See all notes for this SearchWiki” link and retrieve all your saved notes by clicking “See all my SearchWiki notes“(shown in the screen shot below).

How to use SearchWiki?
Here’s how you can rank, remove, add, and comment on search results:
If you like a result click
to move it to the top of the page. This result will appear at the top whenever you do the same search in the future with the marker

In case you think of a result as irrelevant and dont want to see it in your future searches click

Click “Add a result” (can be seen in the image above) at the bottom of any search results page to add a page that you consider relevant to that search. When you do this search again in the future, you’ll see the page you suggested at the top with this marker
.You can also comment on a result by clicking on
which opens a text box.
How to undo the changes?
If you’d like to return a result you’ve promoted to it’s original position, click the down arrow next to the result.
If you want to restore a deleted page to your search results, click the “Show them link” at the bottom of the results page (next to ‘You have removed results from this search’), then click ‘Restore‘.
To delete a comment you’ve made, click the ‘Delete comment‘ link.
If you added a new page to a set of search results, you can remove it by clicking the
next to it.
How to hide SearchWiki controls?
If you prefer not to see the SearchWiki controls, you can hide them from the search results page by visiting the Google Preferences page.
Hiding the controls doesn’t delete your preferences; while you’re signed in to your Google Account, your favorite sites will still appear at the top, and results you’ve deleted still won’t show up.
