How To Delete Gmail, Orkut, And Other Google Accounts Permanently


Say you are no longer using that old account of yours, which you were using for mail and social networking during your college time. You either find that email id too unprofessional to use it now, or want to delete that account due to some personal reasons. You can delete Gmail, Orkut,Google Docs, Blogger, FeedBurner, Google Groups, Google Talk (Gtalk), Web History(search suggestions), and so on, for whichever you already have an account.

1. Go to Delete Google Account page and sign in with the account you want to delete.

2. Here you can check all the services that you want to delete. In case of some services, such as Google Adwords, you can switch to a new Google account before deleting the existing one.

3. Enter your password, and select the two check boxes confirming that you want to delete your account. Hit ‘Delete Google Account’ to complete the process.

Warning: Be careful to choose only those Google services that you really want to delete. Once deleted, you will not get back your account.
