After releasing Norton Internet Security 2009 which was a much improved security software when it comes to speed and performance, Symantec has Norton Internet Security 2010 and Norton Antivirus 2010 lined up for release. A Beta version of this software is available for free download. Symantec claims more performance and security improvements in Norton Internet Security 2010 .

Enhancements to Norton Internet Security include the Norton Safe web, a new antispam engine and upgraded SONAR 2 technology. Also, a newly added feature called Norton Performance system aims to improve PC’s performance. Identity Safe, which helps users fight Phishing has been made portable.
Beta versions of Norton Internet Security 2010 and Norton Antivirus 2010 are available for free download. Norton Internet Security 2010 is a complete suite which consists of Norton Antivirus 2010, Firewall, Antispyware and many other security features.
