Download Fennec: Free Firefox-based Mobile Browser

Fennec is a Firefox-based browser for Mobile Phones. While it borrows most of the source code from Firefox, Memory Management and User Interface have been completely redesigned to support the lower hardware resources of mobile phones. Also Add-Ons, an integral part of Firefox, have been added in this release.

Fennec build for Windows Mobile 6 was started a few months back and there was already a milestone release for HTC Touch Pro. The Alpha 1 release, also targeted for the HTC Touch Pro is available for download and testing.

The installation CAB file can be downloaded here, either directly to your phone with the help of it’s browser or to your desktop which can later be transferred to your phone using ActiveSync.
