Fix 'Windows 7 PC Enters Sleep/Hibernate Mode Before CD/DVD Burning Completes' Problem
Have you come across this problem where you are unable to complete the process of CD/DVD burning because your PC enters into Sleep or Hibernation? The reason for this problem is that you may have set a very low value for the options ‘Sleep after’ or ‘Hibernate after’ in your computer’s Power Options.
While one way to fix this problem temporarily is to increase the Sleep and Hibernate timers to a very high value so that there is enough time for the disk burning process to complete. Or you could download the hot fix (KB976781) provided by Microsoft which would recognize the ongoing burning process and does not let the system go into hibernation.
