Get Swype Keyboard On HTC HD2
Swype is a revolutionary technology in text input which works with WVGA screens and increases typing speed rapidly. Samsung Omnia II and Windows Mobile 6.5 on Verizon Wireless already have Swype Keyboards. Now you can get Swype on any device with a WVGA screen, such as HTC HD2, HTC Touch Pro2, HTC Diamond2 etc.
You don’t have to lift your finger once for typing a whole sentence using Swype. Also Swype automatically inserts a space between words. First time users may find using Swype a bit awkward. However after getting used to it, they may never want to go back to their old keyboard again.
A forum member of xda-developers has extracted the Swype CAB file from a Verizon Omnia II device. Here are the step by step instructions to install Swype on your Mobile Phone:
2. Copy the CAB file to your Phone (or SDCard) by connecting the device to your PC.
3. Browse and open the CAB file using your Phone’s File Explorer by clicking on it.
4. Now you are asked to choose a location to install the CAB file.
5. After choosing the installation folder, tap ‘Install’.
