Gmail can now translate your Mails
Google has integrated it’s Automatic Machine Translation technology into GMail. So the next time you get mails from your foreign friends or clients in languages that you dont understand, you dont have to copy and paste the mail into a translation tool.
In order to enable this technology in Gmail
Go to Settings –> Labs
Find ‘Machine Translation’Enable this setting and ‘Save Changes’
You will now be able to see the ‘Translate message to:…” option in all the mails which are in a language different from your ‘Default translation language’.
In case this option does not appear, make sure you have the ‘Enable message translation’ ticked in the ‘General’ tab of Settings. In order to translate to a different language, change the ‘Default translation language’ to a language of your choice.
