How To Add/Remove Icons To Internet Explorer Toolbar [Mini Tip]
This tip is not only for basic users, but also those who may be wondering why their favorite add-on has not shown up on the command bar of Internet Explorer, even after a successful install. This happens because your IE already has a customized toolbar, due to which any new add-ons installed will not show up in the toolbar. Here is how you can add or remove command buttons to IE toolbar:
1. Right click on any empty space in the toolbar and select ‘Customize –> Add or Remove Commands..’..
2. Select the button you want to add in the left list under the section ‘Available toolbar buttons:’ and click ‘Add->’. Click ‘Close’.
For removing a button, do it the other way round. Select the button to be removed from the list on the right side and hit ‘<-Remove’.
Tips: Add a ‘Separator’, found at the beginning of the ‘Available toolbar buttons’ list, to organize your toolbar items. Customize your IE toolbar in other ways, such as resizing or changing the size of the toolbar icons.

I have followed your instructions in the abovementioned website. When I click onto customize, and scroll down to Add or Remove commands, it is in grey writing, not in bold.
What can I do to retrieve icons that I want?
Thanking You
