How To Always Show Menu Bar In Explorer Of Windows 7
Windows 7 has plenty of new features and with this there are some cosmetic changes as well that may not appeal to most of Windows XP users. One of the change is hiding of Menu bar in Explorer or Computer window. Menu bar consists of items “File, Edit, View, Tools, Help”.

By default settings of Windows 7, Menu bar is hidden and activates by pressing “Alt” key when Explorer windows is showing.

If you use the menu bar quite often and would like to have it on all the time like in Windows XP, proceed with the following steps:
1. Open Explorer or My Computer Window.
2. Click on “Organize” and then select “Folder and search options”.

3. In Folder Options, click on “View” tab.
4. Check “Always show menus” in advanced settings.

5. Click “OK”.
That’s it. Now menu will be always shown in Explorer / My Computer Windows.
