How To Backup iTunes Library, Playlists to CD or DVD
Do you use iTunes for all your music listening and organizing? Then you must be having a big library with lots of playlists that have been filled over time with your favorite songs. Why not take a quick backup of your library, Playlists and even those tracks you purchased from the iTunes Store?
Taking a backup of the entire iTunes Library along with Playlists is pretty easy.
1. Insert your empty disk (CD/DVD) into your PC.
2. Go to File – > Library –> Back Up to Disc…
3. In the iTunes Backup window, you can choose a variety of settings before you begin making a copy of your music and playlists.
You can either choose to back up the entire iTunes library and playlists or only Store purchases. Also you can back up only those items that are recently added or changed (iTunes remembers your last backup). Choose the disk burning speed and hit ‘Back Up’.
From now on you don’t have to worry about losing those precious songs and playlists you have collected over years to a system or iTunes crash.
