How to clear Address Bar History in Firefox?
Firefox keeps history of the Web sites and pages that you have visited. Using this, it shows suggestions as you type in the address bar. You can clear a single item or all items from address bar(also known as location bar) history.
How to clear address bar history?
To clear a single item from address bar:
1. Click the drop-down arrow in the address bar.
2. Highlight the entry which you want to delete
3. Press the Delete key to delete the highlighted item.
Note: Items shown with a star are bookmarks which are also known as “Favorites”. These are not part of your browsing history. Hence these Bookmarks cannot be deleted in the above described method from address bar. In order to delete them, you will have to go to ‘Organize Bookmarks…’ from the Bookmarks menu.
To clear all items from address bar history:
1. Go to Tools>Clear Private Data or press Ctrl+Shift+Del.
The ‘Clear Private Data dialog box appears.

2. Tick the ‘Browsing History’ check box. Clearing Browsing History automatically clears
download history also.
3. Click ‘Clear Private Data Now’ button. The address bar history is cleared.
