Adjust your transition time to whatever the length that you want. I have now taken to putting any significant videos on their own slides as I convert the Powerpoint presentations to video after I have finished with Powerpoint and I find this creates less complications. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."  And this is on PP presentations that played without problem before I "upgraded" to Win 7 with PowerPoint 2007.
