How to Manually Update Google Chrome

Google Chrome automatically updates to a newer version when available. The update process happens silently. However it takes some time for these automatic updates to happen considering load and propagation time from Google Servers. If you can’t wait that long, you can upgrade to latest version manually by following these steps:

1. Click the Tools menu .

2. Select ‘About Google Chrome’.

3. If there is an update available, an Update button will be available. Click the button to download and install the updates. Restart the browser to use the latest version.
