How to Rip Audio CD to MP3 using Windows Media Player 11

MP3 is most often used music format for playing your favorite songs on portable devices exclusively due to it’s compression ratio. Songs ripped to MP3 format are considerably much smaller than the original company recorded CDA (Compact Disc Audio) format. If you have Windows Media Player on your PC, then you will not need any separate MP3 converter to do this job.

In this article we will show you how to convert CDA to MP3 format using WMP 11.

1. Insert the CD into your PC
2. Open Windows Media Player
3. Click on “RIP” tab. You can see all the tracks in the CDA listed here.
