iTunes 10 For Windows, Mac OSX Available For Download

Apple has today released iTunes 10, the latest version of their media player for Windows and Mac OSX. While the previous release iTunes 9.2.1 added support for iOS 4 and PDF reading on iBooks for iPad, the latest version brings a lot of new features.

iTunes Ping is Apple’s attempt at making it’s already popular media player a social networking platform for music. Ping lets you follow your favorite artists, see their postings, photos, videos, and listen to their favorite songs. You can post your comments, be followed, and have your own circle of friends. Doesn’t it sound cool?

Apart from Ping, iTunes 10 also adds TV show rentals, improved syncing with an added capacity bar showing you left over space on your iDevice, AirPlay that lets you stream music to wireless speakers, AV receivers, and other iPod accessories.
