Make Internet Explorer open New Tabs Faster
Opening new tabs in Internet Explorer may take sometime during which it shows ‘Connecting…’. This delay is caused due to some Add-ons which take a long time for loading. Most of these Add-ons are included during installation of some Software for e.g., the Skype add-on. Using ‘Manage Add-ons’ in IE, you can tweak it’s performance and make it faster.
How to make Internet Explorer start faster?
1. Go to Tools –> Manage Add-Ons in Internet Explorer
2. Select ‘Toolbars and Extensions’ in the left panel.
3. You can view the load time of all Add-ons (see screenshot above).
4. ‘Disable’ any Add-ons that have unusually long load times. In the above image, we have disabled Skype.
