Google Buzz
Microsoft has integrated Bing, the one month old Search engine which replaced their earlier Live Search, into Hotmail. You can search from your hotmail with the Bing search box which lies at the top of the Hotmail page. This is similar to Google’s Gmail Search feature. Only Gmail lets you see the results in a pop-up while staying on the same page whereas searching from the Bing box takes you away from your hotmail page.

The next time you are composing a mail in hotmail, look for the QuickAdd feature which appears in a sidebar on the right. This new features lets users insert maps, movie times, restaurants, videos, images and business listings from Bing’s search results. For example clicking on the Images tag and searching for dkszone brought up some images from this website which were displayed in the sidebar. Clicking “Insert” below the image inserted it into the message that was being composed.
This feature is definitely worth a try. This is a great way to send your address to a friend or a client who is looking forward to meet you.
