Now Gmail warns you against those eBay and Paypal Phishing emails
Gmail Lab team has come up with a new feature called “Authentication icon for verified senders“. This feature when enabled, will show a small Key icon in the email Sender name field for verified senders (currently it’s for ebay and Paypal only).

This feature is another good initiative from Gmail Lab team against Phishing. It would be good if Gmail Labs extends this authentication key to most of Banking and Financial services. Phishing is now a major problem in internet world. You can report and block a phishing site whenever you come across one so that the damage done by the tricksters can be minimized.
To enable anti-phishing Key in Gmail Labs:
1. Go to “Settings” and click on”Labs” tab
2. Scroll down to “Authentication icon for verified senders” and enable it.
