Google’s Chrome browser was first released 8 months back, with a Beta version later coming in March. Now a stable version called 2.0 is available for download. I you already have Chrome installed on your PC, you will get 2.0 by an automatic update soon. However if you want it right away you can update Chrome manually.

We all know how to add bookmarks to our favorite sites and then later go directly to these sites by selecting the bookmarks from the Bookmarks Menu. However as the number of Bookmarks increases, finding them in the long list becomes a pain and we rather start typing the URL in the address bar. Firefox has an advanced feature of assigning ‘keywords‘ to bookmarks which can get to your favorite site in a jiffy! Let us see how to do this.

Why is there a need for Master Password?
Every time you browse a web site which requires authentication, Firefox like most browsers gives you a choice of storing the login id along with the password. All these stored passwords are then accessible to anyone who can login into your PC. In order to avoid any accidental usage of these stored passwords by anyone else, you can set a Master Password in Firefox.
