How To Root Samsung Galaxy S 4G Using SuperOneClick

PREREQUISITES
1. Download SuperOneClick Rooting Tool on to your computer and unzip the contents.
2. ADB Setup on your computer, or download and install Samsung USB Drivers:
- Download Samsung Drivers for Windows 32-bit version.
- Download Samsung Drivers for Windows 64-bit version.
3. You need to have Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 or higher installed in your computer for the rooting tool to function.
Note: Some antivirus software may give a malware warning against the downloaded rooting tool. This is a false alarm and hence ignore it. We recommend you to turn off the antivirus software real-time protection before you begin the rooting process. You may turn it on later.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Put your Galaxy S 4G into USB debugging mode. To do that, go to “Applications” –> “Settings” –> “Applications” –> “Development” and check the USB debugging mode ON.

2. Connect the phone to computer via USB cable.
3. Open the SuperOneClick folder and run the “SuperOneClick.exe” file.
