Screen Capture & Online Image Sharing In One Go Using ShareCapture
Came across a funny picture while browsing the web? The first thing you want to do is to capture the image and share it with your friends. There are several screenshot tools as well as webpage capture tools (some even let you export as E-books to Amazon Kindle) available for free. We have already featured our pick of best free screen capture software.
You can use one of these tools, along with a free and easy image sharing site such as imgur to immediately share your finding with friends and family. If you are looking for a solution that can do both screen capturing as well as online sharing in a single interface, then here is ShareCapture, a free and portable tool.
After downloading and extracting the RAR file, simply run the exe file to launch the program. The application runs from the System Tray. Right click on the tray icon to open it’s options window. Here you can configure a ftp host for uploading the captured images. In case you don’t have any ftp account, ShareCapture will upload any screen captures to it’s website, and post the sharing link to the Clipboard, which can then be pasted into your Email, tweet, or in your IM messages.
Capturing a screenshot is as simple as pressing the Print Screen button and marking the screen area you want to capture by dragging the yellow cross lines into a rectangle. ShareCapture lets you choose the image format for uploading, including JPG, BMP, and PNG and the custom directory for saving the images on your PC (by default it saves in ‘images’ folder in the program’s directory). You can choose to launch the program at Windows startup, delete the local images after uploading, and so on.
