Sn0wbreeze 2.1 Available For Download To Jailbreak iOS 4.1 Without Baseband Upgrade

We reported yesterday that Sn0wbreeze 2.1 may be released today, and it did happen. iH8sn0w has ported PwnageTool 4.1 that lets you build custom firmware without updating your baseband and jailbreak iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS so that you can later unlock the devices with Ultrasn0w 1.1-1.

Devices Supported by Sn0wbreeze 2.1

With Sn0wbreeze 2.1 you can set up custom boot logos (iPhone 3G only), activate your iPhone, set root partition size, install SSH, and so on. You can jailbreak the following devices:

iH8sn0w initially published a video showing Sn0wbreeze 2.1 jailbreak iPad 4.2 Beta. iOS 4.2 final version may be out sometime next week, now that both Mac OS X 10.6.5 and iTunes 10.1 are out. We will have to wait and see if the current version of Sn0wbreeze works on iPad 4.2 as well.
