Sony Adds PS3 Firmware 3.60 Auth On PSN, CFW Patch Incoming
As soon as the PS3 Firmware 3.60 has released last week, the hackers started doing business on it. If you are the owner of a PS3, then your madness with the question of a jailbreak or hack for your device on Firmware 3.6 will be on top. But, incidentally, Sony has a cunning sharp eye on these hacks and exploits in its Firmware of PS3. It has updated the Firmware to eventually causing custom Firmware to get blocked.

Actually the update is released to shutdown the FckPSN and other similar hacks which, resultantly, blocked the devices of users who were using Custom Firmware.
It is interesting to mention that Sony released their PS3 Firmware 3.60 with a new authentication system. But initially this system was not active in the devices which brought up to the latest Firmware. With the new update, the authentication system is enabled and there is far more security added to your devices with the new mechanism.
It is also learned that a CFW patch for the Firmware is coming up which will possibly kick out non-CFW users from PSN. The patch is expected not to be available to all users and only some PS3 owners will get it. Stay tuned to stay updated!
