BingTweets, a partnership between Microsoft and Federated Media (FM) brings together Bing and Twitter on the same platform. Earlier Bing has already fused Tweets from famous personalities in the Bing search results. Taking a step forward, BingTweets is a dedicated website which clubs Bing search results and real time content from Twitter in an easy to use new interface.

Twitter is the fastest growing social phenomenon. Most Twitter users have generally found searching for content on Twitter not so easy. With BingTweets this is likely to change.

Sometimes people search for other people, products, movies, restaurants in their locality etc. The results that a search engine comes up with fall short of what people are really looking for, i.e. other people’s thoughts on the matter. Twitter has a lot of Tweets where people share their thoughts and feelings and BingTweets captures this real-time content.

Search for any currently hot topic on BingTweets and you will be presented with Bing search results as well as scrolling tweets in real time in the left panel. However you will only be able to see the most recent Tweets. You can share the information with your friends by tweeting them the results. An interesting feature is the automatic playing of the ‘search’ for the popular tags under ‘trending topics’ section. Click the ‘Play’ button on any of the trending topics and BingTweets will present you with search results from each of the topics.
