How To Stop Explorer From Showing Libraries When Launched From Taskbar In Windows 7
Windows 7 taskbar has 3 shortcut icons on taskbar. One of the icon in it is the “Explorer” icon. But when launched, it shows up “Windows Libraries” instead of “Windows Explorer” or “My Computer”. This is useless for users who often don’t use libraries. Users would rather wish to launch “My Computer” or “Windows Explorer”. We will show you how to do that.
1. Right-click on Explorer icon on the taskbar and then right-click on Windows Explorer icon in the list. Then click on “Properties”.

2. In the Shortcut tab of “Windows Explorer Properties”, change the “Target” to open any location.

To change it to open to “My Computer”, change the shortcut to:
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe ::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}
To change it to open to “My Documents”, change the shortcut to:
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /N,::{450D8FBA-AD25-11D0-98A8-0800361B1103}
