TinyUmbrella Updated For Apple TV, Save SHSH Blobs For iOS 4.1 Now

The 2nd generation Apple TV which runs on iOS 4.1 can be theoretically jailbroken, with the iPhone Dev Team being able to decrypt it’s keys using the SHAtter exploit based jailbreak. So for those of you who want to jailbreak Apple TV when it’s possible, saving SHSH blobs for a future downgrade would be a good idea.

TinyUmbrella which lets you save ECID SHSH of your iDevice either locally or to Cydia has been upgraded to support Apple TV. In order to save your SHSH blobs for Apple TV, simply connect your device to your Computer, let TinyUmbrella recognize it and then click ‘Save My SHSH’.

Note For Mac users: Do not run the application from the DMG, copy it to your desktop and run it.
