How To Turn Off Windows Startup Sound In Windows 7

So you joined your office meeting late, switched on your laptop and logged into your Windows 7. The loud Windows startup sound certainly will not impress your Boss! To avoid the same again, you may like to disable Windows startup sound for your Office laptop. Here is how you can do it.

1. Right-click in empty area desktop and click “Personalize”.

2. In Personalization window, scroll down the list an click on “Sounds”.

3. Clear the check box “Play Windows Startup sound” and then click “OK” to save the changes.

That’s it. Windows 7 startup music is no longer played in your computer.
