Don’t panic if you have forgotten the password of a 7 Zip archive. Here is a free program which lets you unlock your password protected 7Z zip files. Called 7z Cracker, this open source command line tool works on Windows platform and lets you crack 7z files with a simple command.

According to it’s author, 7z has an average performance of about 5 to 6 passwords per second. Currently it works only as a numeric cracker.
