Where Is Add Or Remove Programs Gone In Windows 7 Control Panel [Mini Tip]
So you have newly switched to Windows 7 from Windows XP? When the time comes to uninstall a certain non-working or an unwanted application, you are unable to find that familiar ‘Add Or Remove Programs’ item in the Control Panel.
‘Add Or Remove Programs’ is now called ‘Programs and Features’ in Windows 7. To view and manage all installed software on your system, go to Control Panel –> Programs and Features –> Uninstall a program.
In order to uninstall a program, select it first and click on ‘Uninstall’ on the toolbar above. Other options include ‘Change’ and ‘Repair’ which also appear as toolbar buttons (if it applies) for the selected program. Unlike Windows XP, you will not find a ‘Remove’ button when a program is selected.
