Windows 7 SP1 RC Available For Download
Microsoft has released Windows 7 Service Pack 1 RC (Release Candidate) and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 RC. Windows 7 SP1 Beta was made available around 3 months ago, with some leaked screenshots of Windows 7 SP1 doing the rounds before that.
Windows service packs are a cumulative of all previous incremental updates delivered via Windows Update. You can download and install Windows 7 SP1, only if you have Widows 7 RTM genuine version on your PC. Make sure you uninstall Windows 7 SP1 Beta before you go ahead with the installation.
Final version of Windows 7 SP1 is expected to be released to the public at PDC 2010 (Professional Developers Conference). Then it would be available via Windows Update to every one. If you are not willing to wait so long, then here is how to download Windows 7 SP1 RC.
